Corona dogs can be used on many different occasions in order to detect individuals who carry the virus, mainly large public spaces like airports, train stations, bus terminals, subways and similar. Other areas of interest include hospitals, health care facilities, senior homes and even workspaces.

The purpose of detecting virus carriers are several – placing arriving travellers in quarantine, avoiding virus carriers at sensitive locations, protecting groups with health pre-conditions and more.

For example, visiting a theatre could soon be possible by using Corona dogs. At the foyer visitors are given a napkin to stroke their forehead with. The napkin is then placed in a plastic container and taken to a room where the corona dog is ready to determine if a sample is negative or positive using the so called Discrimination Track method.
Within several minutes it would enable visitors who tested negative to continue enjoying the theatre performance.
